Paris, 12th January, 2023 -- Opensee, the leading platform enabling business users at financial institutions to analyse the most granular data in real time, has made one global appointment and added three executives in its New York office to drive sales and broaden support for international and domestic clients in the U.S. The appointments deliver on one pillar of Opensee’s global growth strategy following the 11 million euro Series A funding round it announced in December.
Abdul Anwari and Michael Bailleux join as U.S. Sales Directors and will report to Rodrigo Medgenberg, who Opensee appointed as VP Sales late last year. At the same time the company also recruited Stéphane Sesquin as its New York-based Head of Solutions in the U.S.Opensee established a representative office in Singapore late last year as well, to expand in SouthEast Asia.Aside from growing its global footprint, the Series A funding round led by Omnes Capital, with the participation of Laurion Capital and Societe Generale Ventures, also allows Opensee to develop its innovative product roadmap, notably in advanced AI analytics as well as multiple turnkey solutions delivered as a fully managed Cloud SaaS.

Rodrigo has 20 years of experience in executive leadership roles, where he has developed teams and CRM processes to drive revenue growth for international companies in financial services and the technology industry. He started his career as a market maker at CBOE before focusing on change management in companies including Refinitiv, Digital Asset and Salesforce.

Abdul has been working since 2008 in business development, account management and sales for fast-growing companies focused on the financial services industry. He joined Opensee from Backstop Solutions, a SaaS provider of data streamlining and analytics solutions, before which he was at another provider, Cobalt. Prior to these roles he worked for a decade at Preqin, for whom he moved to the U.S. in 2010 to support its growth.
About Michael Bailleux
Michael has spent more than 30 years in banking and working for fintechs in various sales roles. Past employers include BMO Capital Markets, Bloomberg Tradebook, TSI, Adenza and FIS. He spent a dozen years as an FX options broker and leverages this practical experience on the trading desks to support his clients.
About Stéphane Sesquin
Stéphane began working in systems administration and development more than 20 years ago before becoming a solution consultant and sales engineer. Based in New York for the past 14 years, he joined Opensee from Intercontinental Exchange. Prior to this, he worked for various software and technology providers in supporting trading desks, alternative investment firms and financial data managers.
